Experience the winter landscape by snowmobile and try ice fishing in the wilderness
This wonderful half-day tour lasts 3 hours and includes changing, instructions, and a cozy coffee break by the fire with ice fishing. Our snowmobile tours focus on the nature experience, and together we discover beautiful places and breathtaking views.
We meet at Spruce Island Husky and walk together to the changing room where you will be provided with a helmet, warm snowmobile jacket, overalls, boots, gloves, and a hat. You will then learn the basics of driving a snowmobile and receive a thorough safety briefing. After that, we set off and you get to try it yourself! We travel in a small group with the guide leading at the front. The reliable snowmobiles safely take us to some truly beautiful locations. During the tour, you ride two per snowmobile—one driving and one sitting behind—and you can switch halfway.
On this longer half-day tour, you will experience winter marshlands and ride across frozen streams and lakes surrounded by snow-covered spruce and pine forests. If you are lucky, you may spot wildlife such as moose, reindeer, black grouse, and capercaillie. In the snow around you, you might also see tracks from foxes and roe deer. Who will catch a fish for dinner?
During a cozy break by the fire, you can try ice fishing and learn more about the fish and wildlife of Västerbotten. Or simply sit by the fire with a cup of coffee and enjoy the view of the vast landscape and the forest resting quietly under its thick blanket of snow. Feel the calm and create special memories with your loved ones. After the break, you pack up and continue the journey to discover more beautiful spots before returning home filled with new impressions and memories.
