About
The bright summer nights of Norrland are something truly unique. In this activity we take you out on the river in a canoe in the white midnight light. You will experience a beautiful, unique and peaceful moment. A compact silence, the sound of birds and your guide's stories about nature. We paddle along the edge of the forest and can see some birches leaning over the water. Other trees grow directly on stone. Many aspens out on Granön are covered in lichens that shine in an almost surreal orange color. On the river, the sun reflects its beautiful colors in the water and the tern sails above.
After a while we tie the canoes to a tree, go ashore and make coffee. We enjoy the view of the river and forest. The fire invites us to fellowship and stories. The guide tells a little about how people used to live along the Ume River through the ages. The entire activity is guided, and begins with instructions on how to canoe.
